Hints and suggestions for grant application

The purpose of this document is to increase applicants' understanding of the criteria applied when a proposal for a grant funded by the EU is evaluated. The practical hints and suggestions included relate to the standardized practices of project evaluation that assessors must follow when awarding a grant. In explaining such evaluation criteria, the ultimate aim of this document is to align the intentions of the applicant with those qualitative elements considered by the EU Programmes as worthy of being supported.
